Sometimes shows are too “showy” for me. Jeremy Julian Greco is a lowkey performer changing characters subtly with no fanfare. Shaping them by paying attention and asking simple yet provocative questions.

I followed JJG’s 365 days of covid photos on social media. He shows up to me as a hands on worker artist.

I enjoyed how the performer was able to assume the identities of different characters in this drama. Different personas dealing with events that were out of their control. Good stuff

Jeremy is a seasoned monologue performer, whose mastery of various characters makes for compelling theater. From a young girl worrying about not attending parties during Covid to an unhoused person comatose in an ally, Jeremy’s empathetic sensibility renders them all a dignity they deserve and require.
